Finger-Jointed Planks

Our finger-jointed window planks are created by precisely joining high-quality timber pieces with a 10 mm finger joint. This creates stable, dimensionally accurate lengths with optimal material utilization.

Grades

As standard, we deliver 6 m lengths in 21+, or upon request also in 50+, 80+, or 100+. The number indicates the minimum length of the individual pieces used (e.g., 21+ = from 21 cm). Sales are exclusively by layer or package.

Quality you can rely on!

Advantages of "Finger-Jointed" Planks

Ideal for Large Projects

Often the length ratio in large projects is problematic for window manufacturers, as long, knot-free timber pieces are rare. This natural resource scarcity can be circumvented with finger-jointed products. With versions featuring long segments (e.g., Sarner Holz finger-joint scantlings 100+), an absolutely high-quality appearance is maintained.

Economic Efficiency

Finger-jointed scantlings can be produced from smaller timber pieces, meaning less timber is wasted. This gives you a high-quality product that is both resource-efficient and cost-effective.

High Stability

Through the finger-joint connection, smaller timber pieces are joined together, allowing them to absorb greater forces. This makes window scantlings particularly dimensionally stable and durable.

Warping Protection

The process prevents timber warping, which is particularly advantageous for large-format window frames. Especially for wooden windows exposed to external weather conditions for years, a dimensionally stable base is crucial.

Versatile Applications

Finger-jointed window scantlings are used not only for wooden windows but also for doors, facade cladding, and other timber construction applications where high stability and resistance are required.
